SUMMER FEST OFFERS FOOD, MUSIC

June 1, 2018 -Celebrate Recovery’s Summer Fest will be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. June 9 at Athletic Park in Newton.  The community outreach event has a new name, date, location and lineup of activities.   Jeff Layne, director of Newton Celebrate Recovery, said the group decided to change the event’s location and have it earlier in the year to attract more people.  What was known as the “Summer Bash” held in Military Park has grown from a cookout with karaoke to a full-blown day of music, food and fun for all.  “It’s really gotten huge,” Layne said.   

Randy Seedorff & Soul Purpose, Brendan Brooks, Cold Turkey Revival and Outside The Walls will each take the stage at the band shell to play music throughout the day...




RANDY SEEDORFF RELEASES NEW SINGLE

May 4, 2018 - Veteran singer/songwriter and worship leader Randy Seedorff is releasing a new single today titled “From the Inside Out.” The song will go for adds at Christian INSPO/Soft AC and Christian AC-formatted radio stations.

The song is the follow up release to “Fearless,” the lead single from Seedorff’s seven-track solo project titled “Elevate.” “Elevate” was produced by Larry Gann at Awe Struck Studios.

Seedorff has been writing and performing music for more than 30 years, both as a solo artist and in bands, combining his love of rock and roll with powerful vocals. In 2010, Seedorff formed Soul Purpose, a band that plays throughout the Kansas City region. In 2014, Gann produced Soul Purpose’s first album, “Rearview Mirror.”

In addition to performing and writing music, Seedorff is pastor of worship and discipleship at Trinity Church of the Nazarene in Independence, Missouri. He is a member of ASCAP and the Gospel Music Association.

Soul Purpose Joins Veteran Singer/Songwriter for Christmas Concert

December 12, 2017 (Springdale, Arkansas) – Veteran singer/songwriter and worship leader Randy Seedorff and his band Soul Purpose will be ministering to the men of Kansas City Rescue Mission at 7 p.m., Thursday, December 14. The musicians will perform a concert of traditional Christmas music and original songs for the residents. The playlist will include Seedorff’s single, “Fearless,” which currently is playing at Christian INSPO/Soft AC and Christian AC-formatted radio stations, with a video available at YouTube.

More than 1,400 men seek services annually at the Kansas City Rescue Mission, an organization that offers relief, recovery and re-entry programs for its clients. To learn more about the organization, visit the website at kcrm.org.

‘Fearless’ Video Now Available at YouTube  

October 20, 2017 (Springdale, Arkansas) – Veteran singer/songwriter and worship leader Randy Seedorff is releasing a music video for his current radio single today. The music video for “Fearless,” which is playing at Christian INSPO/Soft AC and Christian AC-formatted radio stations, is now available at YouTube.

 The video to the upbeat song features Seedorff in the studio, singing vocals and playing lead and rhythm guitars.

 Seedorff, who is known for his work with Soul Purpose, recently performed at a charity concert with Soul Purpose, Kansas City Blues Band Cenacle and singer/songwriter Bob Jenkins. The event, held at Dearbrook Covenant Church in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, benefited Samaritan’s Purse and the organization’s work with disaster relief for those affected by hurricanes in Houston, south Florida and Puerto Rico, as well as victims of the wildfires in the Northwest.
